multiple entries on a visitor visa

I am in the U.S on a 1 yr multiple B1 visa and ve a few queries .I wish to return back to my country with in the I-94 period and wish to return after a while?

1) Whats the minimun acceptable duration between 2 succesive visits?

2)Is there any significance of annotation on the Visa?

3)Can i visit the U.S for a reason slightly different than that in the annotation( but towards the same goal in a broader sense)?

Any guidance on these aspects is welcome...
