Hello,
My parents are planning to visit me this fall (Sept'04 - Feb'05). Problem is my H-1B VISA expires in Nov'04. My company will be applying for the extension, but it may take sometime to get the paper work done. My parents are planning to apply for a VISA sometime in July- Aug and they have to be in USA by 2 or 3rd week of August.
My question is:
1) Is there a chance for their VISA to get rejected because my H-1B VISA status will expire on Nov 1'04 ? or prob they may get VISA only for 2 months (Sept - Oct)?
2) I'm planning to get a letter from my employer stating that my company will be applying for my VISA extension.
Will this be sufficient? or do I need to show any other supporting documents or letters?
Thanks!
