Pay stub requirement

Hi
Please let me know about the actual number of pay stubs needed to be submitted for visa processing

My wife wants to get her parents here to US and she has only 2 pay stubs with her (as she started working recently). However she has her old pay stubs (for 11 months)

I cannot sponsor my in-laws as we do not have a marriage certificate.

Pls let me know.
