Regarding letter from bank for tourist visa

I've sent the documents for my parents to visit USA. I sent recent bank statements, but not the letter from bank. Is it a must to submit the letter from bank? Pls inform me

if you think you have time, send the bank letter, else
ignore. It is nice to be covered , hence use the above logic. For e.g who would have imagined that an invitation letter would be asked, in our case it was.. so donot open up yourself for problems.

I think banks have 1 week turnaround time on this, start now.

Finally if you donot have it, it's OK too, just have a longer bank statement history say 6-8 months.

More importantly get the affidavit "notarized" this should be authenticate a lot of facts too.
