Son having suicidal thoughts, emergency appointment

Please someone help my wife. My son is in us on f1 basis and has been diagnosed for major depressive disorder since quite a long. He has made a suicidal attempt in recent and was treated in emergency care unit for a week. According to the doctor, he needs his mother to be with him for his last year in college to maintain his stability or otherwise consequences can go even worst. I would rather not think about it. We got letter from the doctor saying that.

Is there anyway my wife can get an appointment on urgent basis?
