lost birth certificate

I have lost my birth certificate and this is required for tourist visas applied to the mumbai embassy.

Plzzz tell me what to do?

I think from what I have seen here it's Mumbai that asks for original birth certficates.


Assuming that you cannot get another one - You should
see what your next best document could be. School certificates etc. Have something else that is original and clearly shows your date of birth.

If you have time do apply for one... We need to poll and see how many of our mumbai applications have been asked to produce one.
