Visitor Visa - About Sponsor's address

Hi,
I am on H1B and am staying in an Extended stay hotel in the US (plan to stay here till I get my parents and Spouse in the US) and then plan to move to an apartment.
As a part of getting my parents here on a visitor Visa,I understand that I need to submit a letter to the Consulate with the residence address -Can I give the hotel address as my resident address?If not,can anyone please let me know what my alternatives are?
