Sponsor document for individual working as independent consultant

HI,

I have gone through the Sponsor document list for Visitor Visa, as it mentions that i need to get letter from my employer to show my employement. In my case i do not work for any employer, rather i work as Independent IT consultant. In that case what documents i need to show my earnings or employement on various projects.
