Visit visa question

Hi,

My parents are planning on visiting US this summer. I want to send papers for their visit but I am waiting on my H1 extension. After I get my extension is it required to go for a visa for their visa approval?

Also my father has two sisters here who are citizens of US. Is it better to specify this in DS-156 or not include at all?

So is it better if I sponsor my parents or my aunt (i.e. my father's sister) sponsor as they are citizens here?
