I would like to help my friend from Peru in obtaining a B-2 visitor visa to travel to the U.S. for a few weeks to visit me. Some people recommend completing the Affidavit of Support for nonimmigrant visa applicants (form I-134), while others say not to use it. Is it appropriate to use form I-134 for all B-2 visa applicants or only in certain situations? Thank you for your help.
