mistake in my i-94

hello,

i need help.

i arrived to usa for volunteering 1 year. in the airport they sent me to some office to get longer i-94. i was with few friends who all got 1 whole year. i asked the people there how much time i got - and they say i got 1 year.

good.

i arrived at August 31 2009 and my friends got i-94 to August 31 2010.
but later i realized that in my i-94 it written [by the hand writing] August 1,2010.not even August 01,
so i think maybe i have a mistake [in the stamp it says August 31, 2009].

so my question is -
first of all - if it was just to August 1, were they suppose to write August 01?
and secondly - how can i check if there is a mistake or not?

It is August 1st, 2010 as handwritten on the I-94. 1 or 01 does not matter.

You can check with CBP deferred inspection office at any POE.
