Transit Visa???

Hi,

My mother has 5 yrs USA Multiple Entry Visitor Visa .WE are plannign to buy her ticket from British Airlines.Someone has told us that she would need Transit visa for UK even if she is just changing plane at Heathrow Airport.I had the notion that passenger who are travelling to US through UK and those who have stay In London(just for 2 hrs), don't need Transit Visa.

Please advise if she needs transit visa or not, just for the information, she is not planning to go outside the airport while her stay time.

Answer will be appreaciated.

If you have valid US stamp in your passport that does not expire, no UK transit visa required.
