My parents visitor visa got rejected twice at the Mumbai Consulate The first time they applied was through me in Jan 2003 for 6 months
The reason for refusal the first time was:
(We think that you will not come back to India ( under sec 214).I and my brother are in USA and 1 sister is in India)
Q's asked the first time:
1. Whats your business ?(asked to my father)
2. Whats your income ?(asked to my father)
Thats it and the visa was rejected. They didnt even see any papers. I had send all my papers as per the list given on @#%$.com and my parents had also taken all the property papers, everything.
Now in June 2004 they are planning to apply for visa again. My brother is graduating in August. So the reason they are going to give is to attend his graduation ceremony. My brother is going to send an invitation letter from the university itself for the graduation ceremony and he himself is also going to send an invitation letter to my parents stating that he would like them to attend his graduation ceremony. I am going to send all my papers again, since I am going to sponsor them.
But I am very nervous/confused. Would appreciate if anyone can give any advice as to how can my parents increase their chance of getting visa.
Any help from anyone will be highly appreciated.
-Thanks, PZaverchand
