Visitor Visa for Sister

Dear Immihelp Administrator,
I will surely post detailed message in the "Read Experiences" Section regarding getting the visa approved for my sister. I have one more question though. On her visa the issue date is 28th Apr 04 and Expiry Date is 27th July 04. She will be arriving here around 20th June 04. At the POE, will the immigration inspector let her stay for 6 months ( though her visa validity period was given only for 3 months). Has there been a known case where they let a person stay here for longer duration that their visa validity period.

Yes, there have been many cases in which person was allowed to stay for more period than their visa stamp validity period.
