  • Help on Parents' visa refusal.

I am on H1B. My wife is pregnant, due date is march10. Today only my parents were refused for the visitor visa. this was the second attempt.

scenario1 : First time even though my father said that son is on OPT(FEB 2008), Officer was like how can he work, when he is on student visa, and he refused the visa.

Scenario 2: Today after almost 2 yrs of first attempt they are refused again.
    Questions were :
    1) who was the officer last time? ANS : A lady immigrant officer.
    2) Who your son works for ? ANS: My company name.
    3) Can I see the letter for his company?
    4) Who you have in India. ANS : second Son in hostel doing his masters.a married daughter and parents.

Officer said.. Sorry Your visa has been refused.
I really need help as my wife is pregnant, my mom wants to be here.
    My questions are.
--> when can they (Or may be just mom this time) appear again?
--> we never showed that my wife is pregnant.
--> Was thinking to call senator and get some reference.

    Please suggest on this.

Your mother may want to visit...but it is up to the consulate whether she can or cannot come.

Unless you can show some significant change in circumstances DO NOT apply right away and risk another rejection.

Senators cannot really help or influence the process.

It would be a good idea to have your in-laws/wife's parents try for a visa instead. It would be a fresh application and so there would more chance of getting a visa.
