Visitor visa application

Hello. I am Santosh
I have applied for visitor visa (B1/B2) for my parents for my graduation.
I filled out the DS forms for my father and mother.
My father works for some company and my mother is a housewife.
In the DS forms for the father only DS 156 was asked and no DS 157 and DS 158
for my mother DS 156 and DS 157 were asked.
I am worried whether it went right or not.
please help me

Your father is over 55 years old. Hence he is only required to fill the DS156.
Your mother is less than 55 hence she also needs the DS157. She is a housewife hence she does not need the DS158.

The application process has been designed well. So just trust the process, man.

Regarding Duration of Stay

Hello.
I have applied Tourist Visa for my parents to attend my Graduation
In the field "Duration of Stay" I put just 1 month.
Is it ok or do I need to put more?
Is the visa duration given depends on this?

It is ok. The purpose of their visit is to see your graduation. Once they get the visa and visit USA, at POE, the IO will ask them about the purpose of their visit. They can mention for attending the graduation and tourism. The IO can grant them a maximum stay of 6 months based on their satisfactory replies.
This is what happened to me at the time of my first visit to USA. But I spent only one month in USA and returned though I was given 6 months stay.

DS 157 form doubt

Hello.
I have applied for the Visitor visa for my parents.
During filling the DS 157 form for my mother. There is one question Q.No17
List all educational institutions you attend or have attended.
My mother actually studied till 5th class. What do I need to fill in that column

Whatever level she studied up to the question still remains the same.
So list the schools or name the one school that she did study in.

Hi
I was filling the DS 156 form for my father .. I have a doubt regarding Question no . 18
Spouse's Full Name
(Even if divorced or separated. Include maiden name.)

Do i need to enter my mother name including her family name before marriage?
