Visitor Visa :Needed Last Minute Suggestion

My mother is going to appear in Delhi Consulate for the Visitor visa.Before, She traveled 2 time to UK in 2006 and 2007 to my Sister.

My Mom is widow lady.

Now she want to come USA for 3 months.I schedule her interview on last week of December 2009.

I am new in USA on H1B .I entered USA in May 2009 and Working with Government agency as consultant.

I am having 10K as my bank balance and i am sponsoring her.

I don't have Tax return and W2 because i just spend 7 months here.

Does Consulate will create any problem due to W2 or tax return.

According to my case what u think the chances of getting visa.

I need your suggestion.

so that if u suggest .i can re schedule the interview in April of May 2010.

If there is no emergency situation for you to have her here right away then it would be better to wait until next year when you have all the tax papers... just to be on the safe side.

You don't want to make it seem like she is desperate or in a huge hurry to visit within 6 months of your arrival.

In the mean while try to collect as much evidence as possible of her social and economic ties to India (especially if she lives by herself and if you don't have any other sibling in India).
