  • Visitors Visa for Brother-in-law

    Hello,

My bother-in-law (wife's brother) wants to visit US, he juts completed his UG but he is running business in his name for past 3 years and he can sponsor his trip.

So do I need to send I-134 and invitation letter or only invitation letter is enough.

Should he carry any kind of document to show he is my wife's bother???

    Please advice......

    Regards,
    Sree

Since your B-in-law is going to self sponsor his visitor visa, you need to send him an invite letter. He also should carry with him your and your wife's legal status in USA.
Since he is self employed, he needs to carry tax return/balance sheets for 2/3years.
If he runs the business from his own place, then, let him carry the property valuation certificate from his auditor.
What the VO looks in his case is that he will return back after his visit to USA.
