I would like to invite my parents to USA next summer. There are two reasons, one I am pregnant, other my brother-in-law is getting married. so this would be perfect time for them to visit. I have been reading this forum and saw the mention that pregnancy should not be mentioned. Could not quite figure out why?

That is because tourist visa is for tourism purpose, and not for your mother to do the household work for you (maid job) or take care of your baby (nanny job).
Even though those things are perfectly valid from the social perspective, the U.S. immigration has no place for giving a tourist visa for such purposes.
People could argue that doing the household work of your own family is not a maid job or playing or taking care of your grand kids is not a nanny job. Understandable and agreed. However, again, the U.S. immigration laws have no such place for such social matters.Immihelp Support
