Last name misspelled in mother's visitor visa

Hi,

My parents got visa on 12/28/2009. When they received passport, they noticed that the last name on my mother's visa had one character missing. My father's visa has all info correct though. Is it OK if they don't get it corrected?

Please reply as soon as possible.

Anyways, my parents went to Mumbai consulate and got the visa corrected.
