sponsoring B2 while H1 under 221-g: help please

I've scheduled tourist (B2) visa for my parents on 8th this month at Mumbai consulate. I'm sponsoring their visa with I-134. On 30th Dec, I appeared for H1 stamping at Kolkata consulate and my passport was held for 'further information' under 221-g. I'm supposed to get back my passport with visa in three-four weeks.

Please help if my parents can appear for the interview under my sponsorship when my own H1 visa is under processing. Will this affect their chances?
