  • Language at PoE

    Hi,
My in-laws are traveling to USA in few days. They are not proficient in English . So they had their visa interview in hindi. But I am not sure how they are going to manage the questions asked at the Port of Entry. Is there a way to let the officer at PoE know that they are not good in English and will not be able to understand or answer the questions ?

    Thanks

They will have to take help from a fellow passenger that can English and the language that they understand.

The airport will not provide interpreters. And if they don't understand English, asking questions will not be waived.
