Property affidavit

Hi,

My mom has an interview at chennai consulate. My question is regarding her property in india. All the property my dad had (he passed away) is still on his name. But we have a legal heirship letter stating that my mother and her three children are the only heirs of my dad. I am planning to get a notarized affidavit for that. So should I show in the affidavit the total price of the property and my mom share as has 1/4th of that property?
