B1B2 Visa with annotation

I am working in merchant navy and my son has B1/B2 Visa with annotation " Joining father on board ship".I will be going to US on vacation and will be accompanied by my son too. Is his present visa with the annotation okay?Do I need to do anything more for my son?

I'm Dr.Prasad. I have got a B1B2 visa to the US for 3 months with multiple entry for the purpose of writing an exam.. and my visa has an annotation stating "USMLE step 2 EXAM". does this annotation have special implications?
