Start up process for visa documents

Hi,
I am planning to bring my parents to US for the first time.
So when i am going through the sites for the list of documents here i came across a list of documents can anyone pls confirm it:

Are the above the complete list of documents that i have to send to my parents...
One more thing is that few days back i heard from one of my friends that there is a new rule from Feb 1 that new DS-160 online form is enough to submit all the visa documents......is it true or not?

Sponsor documents is the list of documents you need to send.
Visitors documents is the list of documents visitor needs to have.

Those lists are already up to date accordingly to the new procedure.

DS-160 form replaces older forms like DS-156, DS-157 and DS-158. But that does not mean no other documents are required.

Go through the entire section of visitors visa and you will have all the information you need.
