Parents with visitor visa landing in different airport

Hi,
My mom has visitor visa and she is coming to US for first time. I sponsored her VISA and i live in NY. My sister lives in CA.As my sister is pregnant my mom wants to go to my sister first(she will be there for few months).
Does it raise any issues with immigration check if we take a ticket to CA ?

I duno but i think your mum are better come to visit you first to make sure everything is ok before she visit your sister...what if she landed in CA airport and custom ask why doesn't she arrive to NY airport. where you are living ( coz you sponsored her )... Hmm I think she should arive to NY first then make a second trip to CA for safety...

This is not a problem at all.

Once a person has a visa the sponsor's address/location does not matter.
There is no problem if her PoE is in California.
