visitor visa plz respond soon

my husband H1b expires within 4 months and he has applied for extension just now from his company.his company would process the extension only when there is 2 months left .I need to bring my parents over here(US) , is it possible for me to invite them for 6 months or should i invite them only for 4 months based on visa expiration which will be the safer side plz respond
