applying for tourist visa while H1 is still valid but not being used
I am a software professional working in India.
I have H1B stamped which is valid from november 2008 - september 2011. But because of my family commitments I could not travel to US on H1B.
Now I need to visit my friends in US for 15 days. Can i get B2 visa? and if yes, will that impact H1 visa while entring US
? This visit is purely for pleasure. This will be my first trip to US and it will be self financed. My visa interview for B2 is after 3 days. Please reply asap.
