  • Questions for B-2 visa

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    1. I am sponsoring my sister's visitor visa. I am at I-485 stage but dont
have a current advance parole document. Please advise if its a mandatory document needed.

    2. Do I need to send an Original birth certificate, as I dont have one. I
    have only a copy.

    2. My sister is separated(20 years ago), hence in the passport spouse name
field is blank. But in DS-156 she has mentioned 'separated'. She has an
unmarried 20 year old daughter and old parents which she is showing as
ties to india. She doesnt have any property or bank accounts in her name.

Do you think she stands any chance?

    Thanks

      Sir,
another urgent question if you can help quickly. DS-156 has 6 months as duration, is it OK to say that she is going for 3-4 months?

      Thanks

          Sir,

Sorry to bother you again. My sister's visa was rejected today at chennai consulate. The office did not mention any reason.

Do you think it could be worthwhile to do a DNA testing to establish mother-daughter relationship between her and her unmarried daughter to prove the emotional ties? In addition to the DNA testing report I can also try to get a letter from Senator.

Here was the original query for your quick reference:

You can't prove emotional ties with DNA, just the relationship. And you can prove the relationship with birth certirficate also.
