Getting sister here

I became a US citizen last year and applied for immigrant visa for parents and sister (17). Parents visa has been approved, but sister will take 10 years!

1. Will it help to get congressman, senator involved to get sister ovr here quicker?

2. Do you think sister would be approved for visitor visa this Christmas even though immigrant visa application has been filed.

3. Is there any other way to get sister over here quicker? - My parents can't just leave her there!
