My wife (US citizen ) filed the petition for me and it looks like it may take a while before I get my immigrant visa.We opted for consular processing. Is there a visa which would allow me to at least visit and see my wife for a month? This is sooo hard on us!

It would be extremely difficult for you to get tourist visa.
She can consider visiting you instead.
