Visa for non-relative, me as sponsor

Hi,

I have a a non-relative from Colombia (she used to be my nanny there) and I want to sponsor her visit to the USA. She has tried a couple times to get a visitor's visa but it has been denied (no reason given). This time I want to let the embassy know that I will be sponsoring her trip and assure them that she will not be staying here indefinitely or illegally. I'm a US Citizen.

Can someone please give me a hand with this?

Thanks for the link, however I need more information. Based on that reading the person trying to come to the US will need a B-1 visa. I found a form (I-134) which is an affidavit of support. I'm supposed to fill this form and where am I supposed to send it? does the person applying sends it attached to their visa application? or do I sent it separately? and where?
