Business Visa - Called again

Hi,

Folowing is my case and would like some comments on the same...

I am working as a Project Leader for a software company.
I had applied for a Business visa this Sep. The visa was not granted as the purpose of the trip was mentioned as installation and training of software.The consulate asked me to go for a H1B and gave a pending status on my passport. The company had someone else do the job as my visa was not granted.

I have applied for a Business visa again. This time i would be going for attending some technical seminars on driver development and would be staying there for about 4 weeks.
The purpose of this trip has nothing to do with the earlier one.
On the interview day when i went to the consular, she was the same person who had taken my interview last time and had asked me to apply for an H1B.
She started the conversation by saying that she had asked me to apply for an H1B but still i have appled for a B1/B2. I told her that i am the purpose for this visit has nothing to do with the earlier one...

She now asked me to get all documents shown during the last interview along with the current interview documents and walkin before the consulate any working day after 10:30. She stamped on the previous pending application stamp on my passport.

Few worries...
1) Do i need to reapply for a visa interview again...?
2) If i do not need to reapply and can directly walk in then can someone brief me the procedures involved in this...i mean how can i get in the consulate . The security , check for the interview letter which i would not be having...
3) Any other issues that i should take care...

Pls share your experiences / knowledge ....

As she said, just go any working day after 10.30.

You have application pending stamp in your passport. Show that to the security.
