Visitor Visa

My mom is applying 4 a B2 visa & she will be self sponsering her alongwith my dad who is not applying 4 a visa. Is a Chartered Accountant's certificate is necessary to show the value of property,jewellery,etc of my both the parents'?

Most of the times, the property is joint and both the spouses have access to it. Therefore, it is a good idea to combine everything.
