Hello Admin or Anybody please help me .

our parents interview was on 18th february morning finished at Hyderabad. i tried to track their passports from vfs-usa.co.in website.

it showing the message when i gave their passport number " your passport has not been handed over to vfs.kindly contact our regional call centers for further queries " .

is this the normal message as it is just 2 days . or i need to wait some time or i need to call if its like that what is that number ?

please help me . thank you.

But admin their interview was on february 18th 2010 morning time. in the interview VO said you will get passport in 5 days. i am tracking in vfs site for passports, still same message.

parents present address is a village that same address we mentioned in ds-160 for passport delivery and while taking interview appointment also from vfs site for passport deleivery we mentioned same address. actually at that time of taking interview we gave present village address and then clicked on HAL . nothing came/selected when we clicked on HAL(its not selected HAL, i think its in disable condition) .

when we took the interview appointment confirmation page in that for passport delivery it shows like this " courier address " down of that " present village full address " mentioned.

why it mentioned "courier address" instead of "home address" as down of that " full present village address " only mentioned . may be this is because of its a village which courier service wont be there.

1) in that case how they will send passports. will they send to near courier office and will they call to our parents phone number to come and pick the passports ? ( as we mentioned phone numbers in ds-160 , i dont rember the option/question of phone numbers in vfs site while taking interview .if option/question is there then we must have given there also phone numbers . )

2) because of this process till now they didnt send the passports ? or because of busy in consulate ? we are really tensed as 5 days is going to finish by today.

admin today when i track the passports our father passport is ready to pick else they are going to courier that one but our mother passport not send to VFS . worried admin is this normal ? may be next day they will give mothers passport too right in the mean time no need to mail vfs right. please help. in the hyderabad us consulate i read in one link that if passport is pending more tahn 5 days we can send email to hyderabad consulate . is it needed to send mail to hyderabad consulate in this case . please let me know.

Timings vary all the time. Wait for few more days.

If someone told you 5 days, it does not mean it is guaranteed in 5 days that includes even the weekend.

still our mother passport is with counsulate of hyd only. they didnt give to VFS. i checked with vfs. interview finished on February 18th 2010.

Our fatehr passport came with visa stamping on 26th itself that means counsulate gave that to vfs on 24th february.

both father and mother attended interview together. no questions to mother in interview just all questions to father only and then said " you will get visa in 5 days " thats all.

what to do admin, total 15 days (i.e; 10 working days ) over. in this above link they gave email id of counsulate. shall i send email to them . if i send email will that effect the mother visa stamping approval in any way like negative way. counsulate phone number also there but that is restricted for urgent/emergency purpose. is this will come under urgent/emergency ?

if you suggest me to give email to counsulate my father and mother went for interview in regional language as they are not familiar in english. so on mother name itself shall i give email or on behalf of our mother we need to give email. if you dont mind could you please let me know the what exact good words i need to email to counsulate like sample matter .

please suggest me admin. you might have seen so many members experinces.

Anybody who experinced in this way please suggect me to go in correct way.
