Visitor Visa + I-94 Validity

I am planning to call my parents to USA. But my visa (H1B) is going to expire in August 2010 (I-94 is valid until same date) and my parents visa interview is scheduled in March 2010.

Are there any chances for denying visa for my parents since my I-94 validity is less than 6 months (it’s only 5 months from now)?

No. That is not a problem.

I have similar scenario with my I-797 expiring in mid July 2010. My parents are planning to come in May 2010. At port of entry, will the officer grant 6 months visa OR will he grant visa only till my I-797 validity period of mid July.

Their I-94 duration does not depend upon your I-94/I-797 duration.
