Should parents name in my passport match with their passport?

Hi

My mother's name before marriage was "Praveen Jain" and after marriage was "Seema Goyal".
Now my passport has mother's name as "Praveen Goyal".
Should her passport have same name "Praveen Goyal" or having it as "Seema Goyal" not cause an issue in B2 visa appointment?

Please let me know.

These are totally different names ...

Try to arrange proof that all these are the same person:

• Praveen Jain
• Seema Goyal
• Praveen Goyal

Also, do not forget to mention these names in her DS160 form as other names.
