Employed + Self Business - How to Present 'Work info' in application

Dear Forum Members,

I am employed newly in a software firm as well as have my own business and hence unsure how to present my work related information in the application for the Tourist Visa. I would like to travel for tourism purposes and leisurely stay only but now feel that being a software firm employee hurts my chances, especially since it is a new job.

Can anyone shed light as to what I should show - Whether [ Employed + Businessman ] or only Businessman (as it seals my case that I will not migrate). Also what kind of documents will be required from my employer if I do apply showing that I am employed.

Any advice is appreciated.

I would suggest you to not hide the truth. Show the major source of income as your occupation & add income from other source in later fields.

From your employer, try to collect leave sanction letter, latest payslips etc.

I have similar issue to the above. I am full time employed, recently started a coaching biz., and also in school for my masters (part-time). How do I fill in these information? Thank you.
