B2 Visa for in-laws

Hi,

My wife is currently in India. She has valid L2B visa. I am planning to apply Visas for my in-laws. From the list of documents, they need to carry the full passport copy of my wife.

Is there a chance of rejection as my wife is not in USA? My wife is in India for the last 1 year.

Any help on this will be very useful.

But the question would be why your in-laws are coming to the US when she is in India. Once they get visa, are all of them planning to come to USA?
