Green Card for Mother-in-Law after wife's death

Hi Guys,
I am in the worst days of life...I am a US Citizen and my wife was a permanent resident... My wife tragically died after giving birth to our first child due to a rare condition. My mother-in-law is here on Visitor Visa to take care of my baby... Is there anyway (special case, asylum) I can apply for green card for my mother-in-law so that she can be here to take care of my baby and also she can live her life seeing the baby grow? Any help is appreciated in thsi dire need. Thanks a lot guys.
