Hi
I'm a naturalized US citizen. My boyfriend and I met in China 10 years ago. He visited me on visitor's visa in California several times. All records were good. Never extended his trip in US.
We are now getting ready to be married. However i've got a couple of questions regarding the situation.
We both are working in China right now. If we get married in China, can he still travel to US with me on visitor's visa (B2). He has no intention to file for permanent residence application yet because of our job location will remain in China for at least 3~5 years. I know we have the option of getting a K1 visa for my fiancee, but if we don't want to stay in the US after our marriage in the short run, can he choose to travel to US on B2 visa? Will this impact our long term plan, we'd eventually move back to US, we just don't know when yet. Can someone help me to weight the pros and cons?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
