Visitor Visa for Cousin

Hi,

I am in the process of sponsoring the Visitor Visa for my cousin. In this regard, how important is to prove the relationship via documents between me & my cousin? I am having trouble in procuring the birth certificates of my mother and her mother to prove that they both are siblings. Are there any other options that I can try? Any help will in this regard will be much appreciated.

You don't need to prove that relationship.

Your cousin's visa is examined on the basis of his ties to his home country & chances that he will return back after visit - as long as he proves that he is fine to get the visa.
