Port of Entry

Hi
Some of my friends told me that if my parents got visa sponsorship based on my letter of support they will have to enter US through my city only and from no where else. Like my parents want to go to DC first before coming to Detroit. But I don't know whats right. If you can pls help.

Your friends are wrong.
If your parents have a valid US visa their Port of Entry does not matter.
