  • Visitor Visa - unemployed - 50+

Hi - I had applied for my brother's family's Visitor visa ( brother, sister-in-law, 2 kids ) few years back and it was denied 214b.
I'd like to reapply for his visa at the least as there is a celebration here and would like him to visit for that. two weeks would be great.
he is currently unemployed. aged 50+. He is concerned it may be denied because of the job situation. is that right?
I would be the sponsor anyways. inviting him and his wife but not the kids would show for sure that he will go back right and no intention of immigration.
Any suggestions. we really would love to have him here for a visit during the function.
    Thanks
    Good wishes

My suggestion would be to let him self sponsor his visit.

Unemployment at the age of 50+ with sufficient bank balance should not be a problem.
