I am staying in USA on L1 visa. My visa and petition expiry date is July 2010. I came to USA in Nov 2009, this is my second visit on same L1 visa. I have no plans to apply I-94 extension. Now i am planning to apply visitor visa for my parents and my brother-in-law (My cousin's husband). my brother-in-law is very much interested in tourism. below are my questions, please clarify.
1) My father and mother got their passports recently. On passport their last names are different than mine. For example, My Last name is J YYYY , but their last name shows as G YYYY . (Instead of first of letter as J it printed G) this was happened because on my mother voter ID card and my father 10th class marks certificate it was written as G YYYY . After going through the posts i got to know that affidavits can be used for different first name. does it also can be done for last names? If yes, can i use the same format
2) As my Visa, I-94 Petition expires on July 2010, will they get visa 10yrs. or visa will be issued until my visa expire date?
3) regarding Bank statement how latest does it should be? is it ok to have 2 weeks older than the date applying/attending for visa interview?
4) Can i sponsor visitor visa for all of them at once? i have a savings of 10K in my USA account. is this funds are sufficient?
