Here is the problem I have. Me and my husband are US Citizens. My Mom/Dad got multiple entry 10 years Vistor Visa in Feb 2009. They came to US in May 2009(first visit to US) and got 6 months on I-94(valid till Nov 4th). They stayed for 6 months. In meanwhile we applied for there extension and did not get any answer from INS. But meanwhile my Dad left on Nov3rd and my Mom stayed back. We came to know on Dec 3rd that there extension got denied. We immediately booked the tickets and my Mom left on Dec10th. I am planning to call them again in this year around April / May(2010). If my Mom alone comes will there be any problem at poe? Do u think if my Dad accompaines her there is more chance that immigration officer gives 6months at poe(as my Dad left before I-94 expired and he can show his passport first)? Also, what kind of questions they ask at poe if they are returning with in 6months? What is the best answer to tell at poe?
BTW, they are not going to stay ever here. Its just that they will be visting again as we get soemtime durign that timeframe to take them around and wanted to do this soon as they are getting old.
