Visitor Visa - Income Tax Question

Hi,
I am sponsering my parents. My parents annual income is 100,000 Rs.
They are tax exempted. What would they say if they are asked to show the income tax returns? They are going to take the property tax returns with them.
Your advise would be highly appreciated. They are going for an interview on 23rd November.

How are they tax exempted? Are they farmers?

Even if they are tax exempted, are they not supposed to file tax returns?
