Friends visiting from India

Hi,

A friend's family is planning to visit us here in the US from India for a few weeks during the kids' summer vacation. My husband is here on work on an L-1. We have been here for the past 2 years.

I just wanted to know a few things...

1. Would we need to send any documents from here to them to help in their visa process?
2. Will our financial records be needed to indicate sponsorship? (They can show a very good financial standing of their own in India)

Will appreciate a quick reply.

If they can show that they can take care of expenses themselves, you don't need to send any financial documents from here. Otherwise, you will have to sponsor them and send the financial documents.
