visitor visa for parents

Ours is a case with both kids living in US. Parents can show property and other ties in India and have no plans to settle in US. Could people in similar situations or those who have gone thru the process provide some info on their approach/experience..

- Any document highlights that should help convince the officer.
- Any thing they should mention during the interview that may help.
- etc

Any tips/info is much appreciated.

Visitor Visa for In-laws

Hi, my in-laws got their visa yesterday from Chennai. Both sons are in US but one thing worked to our advantage. My BIL is doing his MS and we had a letter from his university stating that his parents are invited for his Graduation which will be in Dec. The counselar officer did not ask any questions and just took the invitation letter and granted them the visa. Will let know how long they got the visa for once they get their passports.
I have many friends who have all their siblings in the US and have got a visa for their parents. So, don't worry.
