  • Unable to find parent's expired passport

    Hello,
I have a scheduled interview for my parents next week for visitor visa. I have a few urgent queries:

    1. My dad is unable to find his expired passport (expired in 2012). How big of an issue is this since they ask to carry all current and expired passports? Just fyi - the old passport was not stamped with visa of any foreign country as there was no travel done on that.
    2. Do they need to carry any photo of themselves? The documentation says that it needs to be done only for children below 14 yrs of age. Please confirm.
    3. Do I need to send them the receipt for the payment that was done to schedule the interview?

I would really appreciate suggestions here.

You need old passports only if they contain an older US visa. Check USTravelDocs carefully - it does contain all the information you are looking for.
